The use of a photo box for employee photos
The employees in your company have the opportunity to photograph and / or update their personal employee photo at a fixed or periodically alternating location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional employees are not needed on site.
This gives your staff the option to always fully identify themselves with their individual employee photo.
The staff photos can be automatically cut to the ideal format, freed from disturbing elements in the background and, if desired, saved in different dimensions and aspect ratios.
One possible solution
You position a photo box that is perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees are allowed to sit in front of the photo box, similar to the passport photo machine, and see the instructions for the required actions on the monitor.
The monitor serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Employee ID, first name, family name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be configured in such a way that the data is read in immediately from the employee ID. The data collected in this way then becomes part of the file name of the employee photo taken.

How did the staff come to the picture?
So that the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory alone does not come into possession of the new photos, there are three different ways for employees to get their photos digitally.
- Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photo box provides a private WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the recording, a QR code is displayed on the screen. The QR code leads to the offline gallery in which employees can load their pictures. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the direct vicinity of the photo box. - Entry of the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
Then the captured photo will be sent to the employee's email address. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the recording, a code is displayed or printed out on the screen, which the employee can use to download his or her original photo and the different sizes for the various target systems.
