The use of a photo box for employee photos

The employees in your company have the opportunity to create and / or update the individual employee photo at a fixed or regularly changing location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not needed on site.
You give your employees the option to always fully identify themselves with their personal employee photo.

The staff photos can be automatically cut to the appropriate format, freed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in various dimensions and aspect ratios.

Our proposed solution

You position a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees can sit in front of the photo booth in the same way as with a passport photo machine and read the operating instructions for the necessary steps on the display.

The monitor serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the required information such as B. Personal identification, first name, last name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the Photo Box can also be configured so that the data can be read out immediately from the employee ID card. The information collected in this way is then later part of the file name of the employee photo.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen with a checkbox for internal / external use of the image can also be set up.

After the photo of the employee has been taken, the background of the recording can be automatically exchanged for one or many of the backgrounds you have specified. The head is also analyzed for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and placed in a specified location on the final image.

The recording is saved in a size and format specified by you (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). The file name is used to compare the saved image with the in-house employee data record. We would be happy to help your IT department clarify the interface.

A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are available as an additional expansion stage.
The image output can take place synchronously to a certain extent.

etc. within easy reach.

Of course, each file can also be “branded” with the help of the logo and / or the name and position of the employee are immediately visible on the picture.

How does the staff get their photo?

So that the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory alone does not get the new pictures, there are three different ways for employees to get their photos digitally.

1. Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
   In this case, the captured photo is sent directly to the employee's mailbox.
2. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the recording, a code is displayed or printed on the touchscreen, which the employee can use to download his or her original photo and the various formats for the various target systems.
3. Download from an offline gallery via QR code
   The Photo Box provides its own WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
   At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. That QR code leads to an offline gallery from which employees can download their recordings. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the direct vicinity of the Photo Box.

Other possible uses

To get the most out of your investment, you have the following options:

• Use at company parties (summer party, Christmas party ...}
• Recording of biometric passport photos and ID photos
• Use at trade fairs to produce personalized “flyers”
• Photos of groups of visitors, e.g. after a tour of the company

The need for investment

The cost of purchasing such a perfected photo booth starts at around € 4,400 plus VAT and pays off for companies with around 100 employees.
Of course, there is also the opportunity to try out the system beforehand on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the later purchase if the system is kept immediately.
