The mission goal
The employees in your company have the option to create and / or update their personal employee photo at a fixed or regularly alternating location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional employees are not needed on site.
You give your teams the chance to identify themselves to 100% around the clock with their personal employee photo.
The staff photos can be automatically adapted to the optimal format, removed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in several dimensions and aspect ratios.
Our proposed solution
You place a photobox set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID card or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo box, similar to a passport photo machine, and read the instructions for the necessary steps on the monitor.
The screen serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary data such as B. Employee ID, first name, last name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the Photo Box can also be configured so that the data can simply be read from the company ID card. The information collected in this way is then part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen with a checkbox for internal / external use of the image can also be displayed.
Following the photograph of the employee portrait, the background of the recording can automatically be replaced with one or more backgrounds you have specified. In the same way, the head is found for every photo, adjusted to a specified size and placed in a defined position on the final image.
The image is saved in a size and format you have specified (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). The name of the file is used to compare the photographed image with the in-house employee data set. We would be happy to help your IT department determine the interface.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an extra extension.
The image output can take place synchronously in various forms.

Of course, each file can also be “personalized” with the help of the company logo and / or the name and position of the employee can be directly on the picture.

How do the staff get their picture?
So that not only the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory get the new photos, employees can choose between three different ways to get their photo as a file.
- Download from an offline gallery via QR code
The Photobox provides a private WLAN into which the employee has to dial in.
At the end of the recording, a QR code is displayed on the screen. This QR code leads to the offline gallery from which employees can save their photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the direct vicinity of the photo box. - Enter the e-mail address at the end of the photo sequence.
The captured photo is then sent to the employee's mailbox. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed or printed out on the touchscreen, which the employee can use to download his or her original image and the different formats for the different target systems.
