The use of a photo box for employee photos
The employees in your company have the option of photographing and / or updating their own employee photo at a fixed or regularly changing location (e.g. in the dining room or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that you do not need extra staff on site.
This gives your workforce the option to always fully identify themselves with their personal employee photo.
The staff photos are automatically adapted to the appropriate format, freed from disruptive elements in the background and optionally saved in some formats and aspect ratios.
One possible solution
You place a photo box perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There the employees can sit in front of the photo booth, similar to a passport photo machine, and read the instructions for the necessary actions on the monitor.
The monitor serves as a touchscreen in parallel as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Employee ID, first name, last name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the Photo Box can also be programmed so that the data can be read directly from the company ID. The information collected in this way is then part of the file name of the employee photo taken.

The image output can take place in different formats at the same time.

How does the photographed person get his picture?
So that the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory alone does not come into possession of the new images, employees can choose between three different ways to receive their image digitally.

The photobox provides a private WLAN that the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. That QR code leads to the offline gallery from which the employee can save his or her pictures. At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed or printed on the screen, which the employee can use to copy down his or her original photo and the different sizes for the various target systems.
