What should be achieved?
The employees in your company have the opportunity to photograph and/or update their own employee photo at a fixed location or at regularly alternating locations (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that you do not need additional staff on site.
This gives your teams the option of fully identifying themselves around the clock with their personal employee photo.
The personal photos are automatically cut to the ideal format, removed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in different dimensions and aspect ratios.
One possible solution
You place a photo box set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is around 1.5mx 1m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo box and see the operating instructions for the necessary steps on the touchscreen, just like at a passport photo machine.
The screen serves as a touch screen in parallel as an input terminal for the required information such as e.g. B. Personnel identifier, name, surname and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photobooth can also be programmed in such a way that the data is read directly from the company ID card. The information recorded in this way is then an element of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a privacy screen can also be displayed with a confirmation option for internal/external use of the image.
After photographing the employee portrait, the background of the photo can be automatically replaced with one or more backgrounds specified by you. The head is also located for each photo, scaled to a specified size and placed in a specified position on the final image.
The recording is saved in a size and aspect ratio specified by you (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison between the stored image and the internal employee data record takes place via the name of the file. We would be happy to help your IT department define the interface.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an optional expansion stage.
The image output can take place synchronously in several formats.
So you always have the right photo for

etc. within easy reach.
Of course, each file can also be "branded" with a company logo and/or the designation and position of the employee will be visible directly on the image.

How did the staff come to the picture?
To ensure that the CRM system or the Active Directory are not the only ones to benefit from the new photos, there are three different ways for employees to choose from to receive their picture digitally.
- Download from an online gallery
At the end of the recording, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the employee can use to download their original photo and the various sizes for the various target systems. - Download from an offline gallery via QR code
The photo box provides its own WLAN that the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. This QR code leads to the offline gallery where employees can download their photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this path is only possible in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
The photo taken is sent directly to the employee's mailbox.

The cost frame
The cost of purchasing a photo box adapted in this way starts at around €4,400 plus VAT and is therefore worthwhile for companies with around 100 employees or more.
Of course, there is also the opportunity to test the system beforehand on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the subsequent purchase if the system is taken over immediately.
