The use of a photo box for employee photos
The employees in your company have the option of creating and/or updating their own employee photo at a fixed or periodically changing location (e.g. in the dining room or the company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that extra personnel are not needed on the spot.
You give your workforce the chance to identify themselves to 100% at any time with their personal employee photo.
The personal photos are automatically adjusted to the ideal format, freed from annoying elements in the background and, if desired, saved in different formats and aspect ratios.
A suggested solution
You place a photo box set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID card or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees will stand in front of the photo box like in a passport photo machine and see the operating instructions for the necessary actions on the screen.
The monitor serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information, e.g. B. Personnel identifier, name, surname and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the Photo Box can also be configured so that the data is read directly from the employee ID card. The employee data recorded in this way then subsequently becomes an element of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen with a release option for internal/external use of the image can also be displayed.
After the employee picture has been photographed, the background of the recording can be automatically replaced with one or different backgrounds specified by you. The head is also determined for each photo, scaled to a specified size and positioned at a defined point on the final image.
The recording is saved in a size and aspect ratio defined by you (eg square for the Active Directory). A comparison is made between the saved image and the internal employee data record via the name of the file. We would be happy to help your IT department specify the interface.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an extra expansion stage.
The image output can take place in parallel in several dimensions.

Of course, each file can also be "branded" with company logos and/or the name and position of the employee can be included directly in the image.

How does the photographed person get their photo?
So that it is not just the CRM system or Active Directory that benefits from the new images, there are three different ways for employees to choose from to receive their image as a file.
- Download from an online gallery
At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed on the touchscreen or printed out, which employees can use to copy their original photo and the various formats for the various target systems. - Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
In this case, the captured photo is immediately sent to the employee's inbox. - Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photobooth provides a private WLAN that the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. This QR code leads to the offline gallery from which employees can download their pictures. In contrast to the online gallery, this path is only possible in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.

The cost frame

Of course, there is also the chance to try out the system beforehand on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the subsequent purchase if the photo box is purchased immediately.
