What should be achieved?
The employees in your company have the option of taking their own employee photo and/or updating it at a fixed location or at periodically alternating locations (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this is achieved in the form of a self-service process and that extra employees are not needed on the spot.
You give your workforce the chance to identify themselves to 100% at any time with their personal employee photo.
The staff photos can be independently adapted to the optimal format, freed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in different formats and aspect ratios.
A suggested solution
You place a photo booth perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID card or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees will stand in front of the photo box, similar to the photo booth, and read the instructions for the necessary steps on the monitor.
The screen serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary data such as B. Employee identifier, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photobooth can also be configured in such a way that the data is read directly from the employee ID card. The data collected in this way is then later part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen with a confirmation option for internal/external use of the recording can also be set up.
Following the photograph of the employee picture, the background of the photo can be automatically replaced with one or various backgrounds specified by you. The head is also determined for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and placed in a specified position on the final image.
The recording is saved in a size and aspect ratio specified by you (eg square for Active Directory). The name of the file is used to compare the portrait taken with the in-house employee data record. We would be happy to help your IT department define the interface.
A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are available as an extra expansion stage.
The image output can take place in different dimensions at the same time.

Of course, each file can also be "branded" with company logos and/or the name and position of the employee will be immediately visible on the image.

How does the employee get the photo?
So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory can benefit from the new photos, there are three different ways for the company employees to choose from to get their photo digitally as well.

The photo taken is sent directly to the employee's email address. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed or printed on the touchscreen, which the employee can use to load his original photo and the various formats for the various target systems. - Download from an offline gallery via QR code
The photo box provides its own WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the recording, a QR code will appear on the screen. This QR code leads to an offline gallery where employees can copy their pictures. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo booth.

The cost frame
The cost of purchasing a customized photo box starts at around €4,400 plus VAT, which makes it worthwhile for companies with around 100 employees or more.
Of course, there is also the chance to test the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the subsequent purchase if the system is taken over immediately.
