What should be achieved?

The employees in your company have the option of photographing and/or updating the individual employee photo at a fixed location or at regularly alternating locations (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this is achieved in the form of a self-service process and that you do not need additional personnel on site.
You give your teams the chance to identify themselves completely with their own employee photo at any time.

The personal photos can be automatically optimized to the optimal format, removed from annoying elements in the background and saved in different sizes and aspect ratios if desired.

The solution

You position a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID card or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo box, just like with a passport photo machine, and read the operating instructions for the necessary steps on the screen.

The screen serves as a touchscreen in parallel as an input terminal for the necessary data such as e.g. B. EmployeeID, name, surname and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be set up so that the data can be read directly from the employee ID card. The data recorded in this way is then part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen with a checkbox for internal/external use of the photo can also be displayed.

After photographing the employee portrait, the background of the photo can be automatically replaced with one or many backgrounds specified by you. Likewise, the head of each photo is determined, adjusted to a specified size and positioned at a defined point on the final image.

The image is saved in a size and aspect ratio you specify (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison between the stored portrait and the in-house employee data record takes place via the name of the file. We would be happy to help your IT department define the import interface.

A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as additional extensions.
The image output can happen simultaneously in several dimensions.
So you always have the perfect photo for
Outlook, WhatsApp & Co, the CRM system, XING, LinkedIn
etc. are available.

Logically, each file can also be “personalized” with company logos and/or the name and position of the employee can be immediately included in the picture.

How does the employee get his picture?

So that the CRM system or Active Directory alone does not get hold of the new photos, there are three different ways for employees to choose how to get their photo as a file.

1. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed or printed on the touchscreen, which the employee can use to download the original photo and the various formats for the various target systems.
2. Enter the e-mail address at the end of the photo sequence.
   Then the captured photo will be sent to the employee's email address.
3. Download via QR code from an offline gallery
   The Photobox provides its own WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
   At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. This QR code leads to the offline gallery where employees can copy their recordings. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.

To get the most out of your purchase, you have the following options:

The cost frame

The investment for the purchase of a photo box optimized in this way starts at around €4,400 plus VAT and pays off for companies with around 100 employees or more.
Of course, there is also the possibility to try out the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the subsequent purchase if the system is retained.
