The use of a photo box for employee photos
The employees in your company are given the opportunity to photograph and / or update the individual employee photo at a fixed or regularly changing location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that extra employees are not needed on site.
You give your employees the option to identify themselves to 100% around the clock with their individual employee photo.
The staff photos are automatically cut to the best format, removed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in some formats and aspect ratios.
The solution
You can place a photo booth optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, employees can stand in front of the photo box, similar to a passport photo machine, and see the operating instructions for the necessary steps on the display.
The monitor serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary data such as B. Employee ID, first name, last name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photobox can also be programmed so that the data can be read in immediately from the employee ID card. The employee data collected in this way are then part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen can also be set up with a release option for internal / external use of the recording.
After the employee portrait has been taken, the background of the photo can be automatically replaced with one or various backrounds specified by you. The head is also found in every photo, scaled to a specified size and positioned on the final image at a defined position.
The image is saved in a size and aspect ratio specified by you (eg square for the ActiveDirectory). The name of the file is used to compare the photographed image with the in-house employee data set. We would be happy to help your IT department determine the interface.
A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are also available.
The image output can take place synchronously in different formats.

How does the employee get their photo?
So that not only the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory come into possession of the new images, there are three different ways for employees to get their photos digitally.
- Download from an offline gallery via QR code
The photo box provides its own WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. The QR code leads to the offline gallery in which employees can save their photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only goes in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the recording, a code is displayed or printed out on the touchscreen, which the employee can use to load his original recording as well as the various versions for the various target systems. - Enter the e-mail address at the end of the photo sequence.
In this case, the captured photo is sent directly to the employee's mailbox.
Other deployment options
