The use of a photo box for employee photos
The employees in your company have the opportunity to create and / or update their own employee photo at a fixed or periodically alternating location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this happens in the form of a self-service process and that additional employees are not needed on site.
You give your staff the option to always fully identify themselves with their own employee photo.
The staff photos are automatically optimized for the best format, removed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in different formats and aspect ratios.
The solution
You position a photo booth that is perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID card or at the entrance in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo box in a similar way to a passport photo machine and read the instructions for the necessary actions on the screen.
The screen serves as a touchscreen in parallel as an input terminal for the required information such as B. Personnel number, name, surname and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photobox can also be programmed so that the data can be read directly from the company ID card. The employee data collected in this way are then part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen can also be displayed with a confirmation option for internal / external use of the image.
After the employee portrait has been recorded, the background of the recording can automatically be exchanged for one or many backgrounds that you have specified. The head is also determined for each photo, scaled to a specified size and positioned at a defined position on the final image.
The photo is saved in a size and format specified by you (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). The file name is used to compare the saved portrait and the in-house employee data record. We would be happy to help your IT department clarify the import interface.
As an extra option, a biometric check and a cut on a biometric ID photo are available.
The image output can take place simultaneously in various formats.

Of course, each file can also be “personalized” with the help of the company logo and / or the name and position of the employee are immediately visible on the picture.

How does the employee get the picture?

- Download from an online gallery
At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed or printed out on the screen, which the employee can use to copy down his or her original photo and the various versions for the various target systems. - Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
Then the captured photo is sent directly to the worker's mailbox. - Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photo box provides a private WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. That QR code leads to an offline gallery from which employees can load their photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the immediate vicinity of the photobox.
Other possible uses
