The use of a photo box for employee photos

The employees in your company have the opportunity to create their own employee photo and/or update it at a fixed location or at a location that changes on a regular basis (e.g. in the dining room or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional employees are not needed on the spot.
You give your employees the opportunity to identify themselves around the clock to 100% with their individual employee photo.

The staff photos are automatically optimized to the best format, freed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in several dimensions and aspect ratios.

A suggested solution

You position a photo box perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID card or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees can sit in front of the photo box and read the instructions for the necessary steps on the screen, similar to a photo booth.

The monitor serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as e.g. B. Employee ID, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be programmed in such a way that the data can be read directly from the business card. The information collected in this way then becomes part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a privacy screen can also be set up with a sharing option for internal/external use of the photo.

After the employee picture has been photographed, the background of the picture can be automatically replaced with one or various backgrounds specified by you. The head of each photo is also analyzed, scaled to a specified size and positioned in a specified position on the final image.

The recording is saved in a size and aspect ratio you specify (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison between the stored image and the internal employee data record takes place via the file name. We would be happy to support your IT department in determining the import interface.

A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are available as additional extensions.
The image output can take place in parallel in various dimensions.

How does the photographed person get the photo?

So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory comes into possession of the new photos, there are three different ways for the company employees to choose to also get their picture digitally.

1. Download via QR code from an offline gallery
   The Photo Box provides its own WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
   At the end of the recording, a QR code will appear on the screen. That QR code leads to the offline gallery from which employees can copy their photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.
2. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed or printed on the touchscreen, which the employee can use to download their original photo and the different sizes for the different target systems.
3. Enter the e-mail address at the end of the photo sequence.
   In this case, the captured photo is immediately sent to the employee's mailbox.

Other possible uses

In order to make the best possible use of the acquisition, you have the following options:

The need for investment

The cost of purchasing a photobooth optimized in this way starts at around €4,400 plus VAT, making it worthwhile for companies with around 100 employees or more.
Of course, there is also the opportunity to test the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be offset against the later purchase if the photo box is bought immediately.
