The employees in your company have the option of creating and/or updating the individual employee photo at a fixed or periodically changing location (e.g. in the dining room or company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this is done in the form of a self-service process and that you do not need additional staff on site.
You give your employees the opportunity to identify themselves around the clock with 100% with their own employee photo.
The personal photos are automatically cut to the right format, freed from disturbing elements in the background and saved in many dimensions and aspect ratios if desired.
A suggested solution
You place a photo box set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID card or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo box, similar to the photo booth, and see the instructions for the necessary steps on the screen.
The monitor serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the required information such as B. Employee ID, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be configured so that the data is read directly from the employee ID card. The information collected in this way is then a component of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen with a confirmation option for internal/external use of the recording can also be displayed.
After the employee photo has been taken, the background of the recording can be automatically replaced with one or several backgrounds specified by you. The head of each photo is also analyzed, adjusted to a specified size and placed in a defined position on the final image.
The recording is saved in the size and format you specify (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison between the saved photo and the internal employee data record takes place via the name of the picture. We would be happy to help your IT department clarify the interface.
A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are also available.
The image output can take place synchronously in different dimensions.

How does the staff get their photo?
So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory can benefit from the new photos, there are three different ways for employees to receive their photo as a file.
- Download from an online gallery
At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed on the touchscreen or printed out, which the employee can use to download their original photo and the various formats for the various target systems. - Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photo box provides a private WLAN that the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code will appear on the screen. That QR code leads to an offline gallery from which employees can copy their photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Entry of the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
The photo taken is immediately sent to the employee's mailbox.
