The mission goal
The employees in your company have the opportunity to create and / or update their own employee photo at a fixed or regularly changing location (e.g. in the dining room or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional employees are not needed on site.
You give your workforce the option to fully identify themselves at any time with their personal employee photo.
The staff photos can be automatically cut to the appropriate format, freed from disruptive elements in the background and optionally saved in several dimensions and aspect ratios.
The solution
You position a photobox set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There the employees can stand in front of the photo booth, similar to a passport photo machine, and read the instructions for the necessary actions on the display.
The screen serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary data such as B. ID, first name, family name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be configured in such a way that the data can be read directly from the company ID card. The information collected in this way is then an element of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen can be set up with a release option for internal / external use of the recording.
After the photo of the employee's picture has been taken, the background of the photo can be automatically exchanged for one or more of the background settings you have specified. The head of each photo is also determined, scaled to a specified size and placed on the final image at a defined location.
The image is saved in a size and format that you specify (eg square for the ActiveDirectory). The file name is used to compare the photographed image and the in-house employee data record. We would be happy to support your IT department in determining the import interface.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an option.
The image output can take place synchronously in several dimensions.

Of course, each file can also be “branded” with logos and / or the name and position of the employee can be directly on the picture.

How does the employee get their photo?
So that not only the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory can enjoy the new images, there are three different ways for employees to get their image as a file.

The photo taken is sent directly to the employee's mailbox. - Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The Photobox provides a private WLAN into which the employee has to dial in.
At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. That QR code leads to an offline gallery in which employees can download their recordings. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only goes in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed or printed on the touchscreen, which the employee can use to download the original photo and the different sizes for the various target systems.
