The use of a photo box for employee photos
The employees in your company have the opportunity to take photos of the individual employee photo and / or to bring it up to date at a fixed or periodically changing location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this is the case in the form of a self-service process and that extra employees are not needed on site.
You give your staff the option to identify themselves at any time to 100% with their own employee photo.
The staff photos can be independently cut to the appropriate format, removed from annoying elements in the background and, if desired, saved in various shapes and aspect ratios.
One possible solution
You position a photo box set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID card or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is around 1.5mx 1m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo box, similar to the passport photo machine, and see the instructions for the necessary steps on the screen.
The monitor serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary data such as B. Employee ID, first name, family name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the Photo Box can also be configured so that the data can simply be read from the employee ID. The data recorded in this way are then an element of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen can also be displayed with a release option for internal / external use of the image.
After the employee picture has been taken, the background of the picture can be automatically replaced with one or different backgrounds you have specified. The head is also determined for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and positioned on the final image at a specified position.
The recording is saved in a size and aspect ratio specified by you (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). The name of the file is used to compare the saved portrait and the internal employee data record. We would be happy to help your IT department clarify the connection.
As an extra option, a biometric check and a cut on a biometric ID photo are available.
The image output can take place in parallel in different forms.

Logically, each file can also be “personalized” with the help of the company logo and / or the name and position of the employee are immediately visible on the picture.

How does the photographed person get the picture?
So that not only the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory can enjoy the new photos, there are three different ways for employees to get their photos as a file.
- Download from an online gallery
At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed or printed out on the screen, which the employee can use to download their original photo and the various formats for the various target systems. - Entry of the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
The photo taken is then sent to the employee's email address. - Download from an offline gallery via QR code
The photobooth provides a private WLAN into which the employee has to dial in.
At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. The QR code leads to the offline gallery in which employees can copy their pictures. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the Photo Box.
