The employees in your company have the opportunity to photograph their own employee photo and/or update it at a fixed location or at alternating locations (e.g. in the dining room or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that extra personnel are not needed on the spot.
You give your employees the chance to identify themselves to 100% around the clock with their individual employee photo.
The personal photos are automatically adjusted to the optimal format, freed from disturbing elements in the background and, if desired, saved in several formats and aspect ratios.
One possible solution
You position a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees can sit in front of the photo box in a similar way to a passport photo machine and see the instructions for the necessary actions on the screen.
The monitor serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the required information such as B. Personnel number, name, surname and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo booth can also be set up in such a way that the data is simply read in from the employee ID card. The information recorded in this way is then part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen can also be displayed with a confirmation option for internal/external use of the image.
After the employee portrait has been taken, the background of the photo can be automatically replaced with one or several backgrounds specified by you. The head is also located for each photo, scaled to a specified size and placed at a defined location on the final image.
The image is saved in a size and aspect ratio you specify (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison is made between the saved portrait and the internal employee data record via the name of the file. We would be happy to help your IT department determine the import interface.
A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are available as an additional expansion stage.
The image output can take place synchronously in several forms.

How does the employee get their photo?
So that it is not just the CRM system or Active Directory that benefits from the new photos, there are three different ways for employees to receive their photo as a file.
- Download from an online gallery
At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the employee can use to copy his original photo and the various sizes for the various target systems. - Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photo box provides a private WLAN that the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. That QR code leads to an offline gallery where employees can download their pictures. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Enter the e-mail address at the end of the photo sequence.
The photo taken is immediately sent to the employee's e-mail address.
Further deployment options
In order to use the investment ideally, the following application options are open to you:

The need for investment
The cost of buying a photo box adapted in this way starts at around €4,400 plus VAT and pays off for companies with around 100 employees or more.
Of course, there is also the option of trying out the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the later purchase if the photo box is taken over immediately.
