The use of a photo box for employee photos

The employees in your company have the opportunity to photograph and/or update their personal employee photo at a fixed or periodically changing location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this happens in the form of a self-service process and that you do not need additional staff on site.
This gives your staff the option of fully identifying themselves around the clock with their own employee photo.

The personal photos are automatically optimized to the best format, freed from disturbing elements in the background and optionally saved in different dimensions and aspect ratios.

One possible solution

You position a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID card or at the entrance in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is around 1.5mx 1m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo box in a similar way to the passport photo machine and see the instructions for the necessary steps on the display.

The screen serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Employee ID, name, surname and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be set up so that the data can be read directly from the employee ID card. The data collected in this way is then part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen with a confirmation option for internal / external use of the image can also be displayed.

After photographing the employee picture, the background of the picture can be automatically exchanged for one or different backgrounds specified by you. The head of each photo is also analyzed, scaled to a specified size and positioned at a specified location on the final image.

The photo is saved in a size and aspect ratio you specify (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison is made between the photographed image and the internal employee data record via the file name. We would be happy to support your IT department in clarifying the import interface.

A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an additional expansion stage.
The image output can take place in parallel in many dimensions.

etc. lying ready.

Of course, each file can also be “branded” with the company logo and/or the employee's name and position can be visible on the image as well.

How does the employee get their photo?

So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory comes into possession of the new pictures, there are three different ways for the company employees to choose to get their picture digitally as well.

1. Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
   In this case, the photo taken is immediately sent to the employee's e-mail address.
2. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed or printed on the touchscreen, which the company employee can use to download his original photo and the various versions for the different target systems.
3. Download via QR code from an offline gallery
   The photo box provides its own WLAN, which the company employees must dial into.
   At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. That QR code leads to an offline gallery where employees can load their recordings. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.

Other deployment options

To get the most out of your investment, you have the following options:

The cost frame

The cost of purchasing a photo box adapted in this way starts at around €4,400 plus VAT and is therefore worthwhile for companies with around 100 employees or more.
Of course, there is also the chance to test the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the subsequent purchase if the system is kept immediately.
