The use of a photo box for employee photos
The staff in your company have the option to create and / or update their personal employee photo at a fixed or regularly changing location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional employees are not needed on site.
You give your teams the option to always fully identify themselves with their individual employee photo.
The staff photos can be automatically cut to the optimum format, removed from disruptive elements in the background and optionally saved in several formats and aspect ratios.
Our proposed solution
You position a photo box set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There the employees can stand in front of the photo box in the same way as with the passport photo machine and read the instructions for the necessary actions on the monitor.
The monitor serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the required information such as B. Employee ID, name, surname and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be set up so that the data can be read directly from the company ID card. The information collected in this way is then an element of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen can also be displayed with a confirmation option for internal / external use of the employee profile.
After the employee picture has been taken, the background of the picture can be automatically exchanged for one or many of the backgrounds you have specified. The head of each photo is also located, scaled to a specified size and positioned on the final image at a defined position.
The photo is saved in a size and format defined by you (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). A comparison between the photographed image and the in-house employee data record takes place via the name of the image. We would be happy to help your IT department define the connection.
A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are also available.
The image output can take place synchronously in various forms.
So you always have the best photo for

Logically, each file can also be “personalized” with a company logo and / or the name and position of the employee can be directly on the picture.

How does the employee get his photo?
So that the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory does not alone get the new recordings, the staff can choose between three different ways to get their photo digitally.
- Download from an online gallery
At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed or printed on the screen, which the staff can use to download the original photo and the different sizes for the various target systems. - Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The Photo Box provides a private WLAN that the staff has to dial into.
At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. This QR code leads to an offline gallery in which the staff can download their photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only goes in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
The captured photo is immediately sent to the employee's mailbox.
Other uses
In order to make the best possible use of the acquisition, you have the following options:

The price for purchasing a photo booth optimized in this way starts at around € 4,400 plus VAT and is worthwhile for organizations with around 100 employees.
Of course, there is also the opportunity to try out the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the subsequent purchase if the system is purchased immediately.
